Bride to a Vulcan Amanda closed her eyes and breathed deeply. Her father was meeting with an ambassador from Vulcan. There had been a little friction between Earth and Vulcan of late, and the ambassador was visiting to try to find a link that would bring common understanding and peace between the Vulcan’s and the humans. Although she was only 19, Amanda felt sure she knew what would happen at the end of this meeting. She would be given as a bride to a Vulcan ambassador, and therefore the government of earth and the government of Vulcan would have some common ground.

I assure you the club is still up an going strong. I realize many of you submitted work that wasn't approved. I apologize but my health wasn't doing well again, then my car broke down, then my rabbit died, then my computer wasn't working and I had no internet access, then I had to work on makeup for my community theater production of The Hobbit- so as you can imagine; things have been crazy here.
Now that my computer is working and fixed I can get back to approving everything and I thank you all for your patience and understanding.
